Jim is featured on this week's cover of BWR Lakewood edition as part of their continued AIR (Artists in Residence) series. It includes a short video interview about his life and art, finding inspiration in and around Dallas.

Jim's work is now featured in the group show "Summer Series '09" at the Haley Henman Gallery in Dallas, located just southwest of the Dallas design District.

Jim's new abstract landscape series "Into the Woods" will be featured at the William and Joseph Gallery at 727 Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The opening is Friday, June 5th from 5-9 pm and the show continues through the end of June.

The Vortex Series by Jim Kraus is now on display at the Covert Gallery in Fair Park through April.

Over 30 new paintings are now featured at Uptown Vision at 2504 Cedar Springs in the heart of Dallas' Uptown. The show is held over through the end of February, so check it out!

Jim will be one of the participating artists at the upcoming Dallas Fort Worth "Art Heist" on Saturday, August 23rd at 6 p.m. This unique show benefits the Emergency Artists Support League, which provides financial assistance to North Texas visual artists suffering from unforeseen medical or other emergencies. Jim will be part of Art Conspiracy's upcoming SEED:2008, a group exhibition and charity auction on Saturday, June 21st at the historic Sons of Hermann Hall in Deep Ellum.
